Stevie is an 1yr old Great Dane puppy. She came to us emaciated and dehydrated. She was weak and had spent most of her time crated. She is skittish at first with strangers but warms up quickly. Once she warms up she is very sweet to everyone she meets and loves all of the attention she can get. Stevie has gained about 10 lbs since coming to her foster home a month ago. Her strength, coat and overall health has improved.
This girl has lots of puppy energy and loves to run and play with all of her foster siblings. She really enjoys playing with all of the toys. Socializing her outside the home is something her foster home is working on as she has not experienced much in the world. She is working on walking nicely on a leash and doing very well. When she is all worn out Stevie likes to cuddle with her people or the other pups.
Stevie would love to have a family that includes another dog or more. She would probably do best with bigger kids due to her high energy. Someone that is familiar with the breed would be helpful as she has not had much guidance in her previous life. Stevie will learn quickly she is very smart.
