Sapphire, or as her foster home calls her, Sassy, is a 9 month old Great Dane. She is a love-bug. She’s still
learning how to be a dog and have fun. She shares her foster home with an adult Great Dane, another 9
month old Dane, and a 3-legged pitbull. She loooooves her doggy playmates. She does well with the
range of ages and sizes. She plays very gently with the pitbull, knowing she can’t be too rough with her.
Sapphire hasn’t had a chance to be around cats or children since coming to Forever Friends, but her
prior home said she was good with both. Sapphire needs a patient adopter who understands that she
will need obedience training and be willing to work with her. She has improved a bunch since arriving to
her foster home and is eager to please. She is house trained and crate trained. She still needs to work on
her loose leash skills, but is getting better. She is a quiet dog that doesn’t often bark or whine, but she
can get riled up with she’s playing with the other dogs. She takes instructions well. Are you ready to be her forever home?
