Colton is a sweet older Dane with great manners. He is not crate trained but can be trusted loose in the house. Colton is what’s known as a “dry mouth” Great Dane so he doesn’t drool or slobber. He doesn’t get on furniture or counters and does not jump. Colton previously lived with a dog and cats. He loves people of all ages, from babies to grandparents.

Colton is heartworm positive and will need to be given heartworm pills monthly to manage it for the rest of his life. Colton also has a case of dilated cardiomyopathy that is mild enough to give him a good quality of life. However, he does take two heart medications daily and will need periodic monitoring of his condition. Colton is completely potty trained but is currently struggling with fecal incontinence.

Colton is 145 pounds of quiet, gentle love just waiting for the perfect family.
