Meet Casper! He is a very handsome 10 month-old deaf male Great Dane puppy… he weighs 120 pounds and will be a big boy! Casper needs an experienced dog owner willing to commit time and energy to training and socialization (and someone able to handle his giant puppy antics)! Although Casper is deaf, he is a confident and you forget he cannot hear. He is a very loving puppy with boundless energy. Casper is a smart boy and already learning some hand signs in his foster home.
Casper is crate and potty trained! He sleeps in his crate at night and usually up at the crack of dawn to start the day! Casper also goes into his crate when left alone or unattended. Casper is kept on a lead when lose in the house and helps with training & when putting him in his crate. Although Casper does ok when out of his crate, he cannot yet be left alone unattended (he counter surfs and is tall enough to reach almost everything!).
He loves treats, bones and anything to chew on. Casper could gain a few pounds and is still growing, so he is eating three times a day. Casper loves to play outside and will chase balls and frisbees (he is still learning how to fetch them back!). He loves all kinds of toys and empties the toy bins daily! Casper loves to be with his people, but he likes to walk around the house and play by himself as well.
Casper is a one of kind! He is a giant energetic puppy and deserves a wonderful family willing to make an investment in training & socializing him… Casper is an amazing dog!
